  • "Sit on a smoothie for three days — and your body will thank you!"
  • "Do a detox — because winter is "slag-laden".

Sounds appealing, right? But… it's a myth.

Our body already has an ideal cleansing system — it's called

  • liver,
  • kidneys,
  • intestines,
  • skin.

They work every day — without juices, enemas and green powders. But there is a nuance! 

 If you really lack energy, suffer from bloating, your skin has deteriorated — this is not a signal to “detox”, but a reason to contact a gastroenterologist, nutritionist or healthy lifestyle coach.
